"I am with a group of HO railway modellers and we find it extremely useful to be able to hook up leds etc. directly to DCC track power. We are a modular group www.hotrak.ca and I and several others do not have a home layout so we must be able to use DCC track power. Once again, many thanks. I am sure we will be taking advantage of Evans designs in the near future."
The train passes a sleepy city
I purchased a 10-pack of your 3mm universal LEDs for my passenger train about three weeks ago. As soon as they came in, I ran down to the train club and had them installed in about 1 1/2 hours. I put two LEDs per car, minus the ACF 70'. This is picture of my passenger train, which is in front of a special scene called Germantown (it was donated to our club, which is CB&W, or Chesapeake Bay Railroaders). Everyone in the club loves the look, and I often like to turn off the layout lights to do some night running (although we need more building and street lights to make this look good). I hope you enjoy them."

A train on the edge of the city
"This project started out as just purchasing an Athearn Genesis Challenger #3985 (I always wanted one; never got the old Bowser kit assembled). Once I purchased that, I had a craving to build a passenger setup, which consists of six Walthers heavyweight passenger cars: ACF 70', Pullman 8-1-2, UP Gray 8-1-2, UP Gray 10-1-2, UP Gray 6-3, and UP Gray Solarium Observation Lounge." "I wanted to show you how my last project came out. I modified a PW Lionel 2671W tender to match my 681 turbine. I made custom handrails from 726 boiler rails and then added my [Evan Designs] LED backup lights." Roger Fluhr

Six switches control box
"Example of how to use our Bi-Directional LEDs
""It's just a simple 6x3x2 Project box with 4 momentary (on-off-on) switches hooked up to a Lionel O gage setup to replace the older big style remote momentary's to control the switching of the remote track switches. These are the 1st 4 switches from left to right. Those have the 3 prong red/green LEDs hooked up to them. The remaining 2 switches I have hooked up are for accessory power to control accessory lights for structure lighting, street lights, etc. I have the 2 prong Blue LEDS you sent me hooked up to them. So pretty simple setup, nothing elaborate, but your LEDs are great. I will be recommending your site to all I know that need them. The pictures show when the remote switches are in the Green position they are for the straight and red for switching to a different track. The Blue just means the power is on."" Chris"

Lionel Polar Express observation car
Here is a picture of my scale Lionel Polar Express observation car. I put one of your FIRE LED kits in the roof and mounted a campfire and "hobo" figure. Now I am ordering more LEDs for the rest of the customizing of this car. A 3mm Universal Fire Kit was used for this great effect!

The train arrives from a distance
This steam engine is a Williams Crown Edition made in 1985... It is the K4s version... All brass... I did not like the way the headlight illuminated, so, I replaced it with one of your LED's... ...had to do a little improvising though... Walla... it is really bright and the wife likes the way it illuminates the wall in our train room while running on our layout. It sure does dress up the engine.
F3 ABBA Diesel Engine
"A fellow stopped in and had a custom painted B&LE F3 A-B-B-A set and wanted "your" LED's installed. Guess he saw them at a show some place and liked what he saw and then another fellow told him about me... So... He wanted the bright white for headlight for the power unit, and he wanted green side marker LED'S... For the Dummy "A" unit he wanted bright white for the headlight and red side marker LED's. He also had a Bay Window caboose and wanted red LED's for side markers and a red flashing LED for the rear. Of course we did take care of him and the photos are not that great, but, shows the F3A units with light on and in dark... He loved them and is bringing back other engines and cabooses." J. Drane, J&J Trains
Premier GP30 Diesel Engine
"I sent you these pictures of my MTH GP30 that I converted to your LED's and added ditch lights. I also modified it with Atlas GP35 pilots." Stan Richardson Stan used our Universal LEDs for this great modification!

Lonely wagon
"Just ordered some more of your fabulous led's. I have also attached a photo of one of your 1.8mm blue leds. It was installed between the ties as an illuminated "blue flag" rule for car unloadings. Per prototype railroad rules, the car can't be moved until blue flag is removed or extinquished. Led is controlled by toggle on facia and powered by your 2amp power supply unit." Larry B.
Triple Santa Fe train
I just want you guys to know that I really love the LED headlights. The color is fantastic and the inclusion of the Diode and Resistor in the leads makes them VERY easy to install. Attached is an image of my railroad and locomotives equipped with your LEDS. THANKS!
